NSS
"Not me, But you"
The college has two full-fledged National Service Scheme (NSS) units .It is a voluntary organization open to all students of the college. The NSS aims to create awareness among students about the society and also inculcate in them a humanitarian attitude towards human beings. The college has felicitated the first prize for the best efforts by NSS units in Jaipur. Various programmes such as environment awareness, literacy drives, tree plantation, blood donation camps, traffic awareness campaign, and women empowerment were organized under the auspices of Red Ribbons Club and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Annual Achievements - National Award was given to St. Wilfred's PG College by National AIDS Control Society New Delhi under Ministry of Health and Welfare. This award was given by Central Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan for our initiative work in AIDS Awareness under the supervision of Red Ribbon Club and State AIDS Control Society.
- Our RRC in charge Mr. Sudhir Verma got a state award on World AIDS Day- 2019 by the Ministry of Higher Technical Education Government of Rajasthan.
Glimpse of Awards to our Volunteers –
- Mr. Mohammed Adeel received the State Award on the occasion of National Youth Day on 12th January 2020 by the State AIDS control society and Red ribbon club. Mr. Adeel also got nominated as state NSS Advisory member in NSS Advisory Committee 2019-20.
- Mr. Rakesh Sen represented Rajasthan state at National youth festival 2020, Lucknow, UP through Rajasthan youth board. Mr. Sen also represented Rajasthan state in Pre RDC camp 2019-20 held at Chitkara University Chandigarh under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Mr. Shubham Sharma and Ms. Asmita karva represented Rajasthan at National youth festival 2020 Lucknow, UP through Regional Directorate of NSS Rajasthan.
- Ms. Anupriya, Mr. Shubham Sharma Ms. Komal and Mr. Rakesh Jangid represented Rajasthan state in National integration camp 2020 Jaipur, organised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Regional Directorate of NSS, Rajasthan
- Mr. Gaurav Chaudhary, Mr. Umed Singh Rathore , received International Award at Gopalganj Bihar which was organised by Akhil Bhartiya Vishva NGO sangathan.
